Dosage and Preparation

Mushrooms are best taken in pairs, one mushroom in the morning and one in the evening, 2 grams each time, so apprx 4 grams total a day.  The drink is prepared like a normal tea, 2 tea spoons of mushroom powder in a cup with hot boiled water and you can drink it 10 min afterwards.

DESCRIPTION

Shiitake is one of the most-studied medicinal mushrooms in Asia, called the “Imperial Mushroom” for its outstanding medicinal properties. Health problems its usually used for include:

1.   Oncology (treatment of malignant tumors)

The substance found in Shiitake, Lentinan, is a molecule polysaccharide, Betaglucan, which acts broadly on antitumor immunity: activates dormant antitumor defense cells – Natural killer cells, Cytotoxic T-lymphocytes and Macrophages, so that these leukocytes could more skillfully destroy cancer cells.

2.  Benign tumors

Shiitake extract shows serious activity in therapy benign neoplasms, incl. fibroids. As well as polyps, adenomas, fibroadenomas, papillomas, etc. In this case, the mechanism of action is similar to the mechanism during therapy malignant tumors.

3.  Infectious diseases

Substances found in Shiitake, so-called “virus-like” particles”, lignans, lignins, etc. are used in complex treatment with antibiotics, increasing the sensitivity of bacteria and fungi to them. Viral diseases (hepatitis, herpes, respiratory infections, chicken pox, influenza, shingles, polio and HIV). Bacterial diseases (coccal flora, tuberculosis, listeriosis, Klebsiella, mycoplasmosis, ischerichiosis and others).

4.  Diabetes types 1 and 2 and Liver disease

Reduces blood sugar levels and also reduces the risk of developing severe complications: – angiopathy (vascular damage) of the retina, kidneys, heart, brain, lower limbs and nerves. The consequences of microangiopathy are the formation of ulcers, loss of vision, diabetic retinopathy, heart attacks, acidosis, etc.

Shiitake extract provides protection to liver cells in case of possible damage from various agents: viruses, chemicals, drugs, autoimmune aggression. This restores normal metabolism in the liver and synthesis enzymes.

5.  Cardiovascular diseases

Atherosclerosis, Coronary heart disease (CHD), myocardial infarction, cerebral stroke and atherosclerosis of the arteries: Shiitake lowers cholesterol levels, prevents the formation of cholesterol plaques in the vascular walls that block lumen of blood vessels, and also inhibits the compaction of these walls. It also prevents platelet adhesion and subsequent formation of blood clots in the lumen of blood vessels. Hypertension: Shiitake may directly help reduce high blood pressure.

6. Multiple Sclerosis

Shiitake has long been used in the treatment of multiple sclerosis. The cause of multiple sclerosis has not been fully elucidated, but scientists have noticed that therapy with Shiitake extract gave its benefits results: disease development activity gradually decreased, patients stopped suffering from viral diseases, after which they usually the condition worsened. Application of Shiitake extract for diffuse sclerosis allows you to slow down the development of the disease, increasing duration of periods of remission.
